If you are a fan of professional wrestling and recent WWE stuff, like myself, you will know that the injury bug has hit the company very hard over the last year. Seth Rollins was one of those superstars affected, but you will be more likely to hear people criticizing him for his “dangerous” in-ring style rather than his resiliency to come back from a career-threatening injury three months early.
Rollins has been involved in three separate incidents that left superstars out of action with an injury. The first was him accidentally kneeing John Cena in the face too hard and shattering his nose in July of last year.

The second was him doing his signature turnbuckle powerbomb on 56-year-old Sting, who injured his neck and was forced to retire just months later.

The most recent that has Rollins getting a ton of heat happened when he powerbombed Finn Balor into the barricade at SummerSlam. An awkward landing led to Balor having to relinquish his Universal Championship after tearing his labrum in his shoulder.

Many have chimed in on Rollins’ “recklessness” in the ring, including WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, who said he would get someone killed. However, Rollins seemed to let the criticism slide off his back when he took to Twitter and let everyone know that he is going to be walking out of Monday Night Raw as the new Universal Champion tonight.

You can’t really blame Rollins for being upset with his critics, especially since all three of those incidents are now seen as accidents. Cena didn’t pull away from the knee quickly enough, Sting is almost 60 and his body has gone through hell and back and Balor’s injury was a matter of wrong place, wrong time as he tried to stop himself and popped his arm out of place.
Seth Rollins is looking to capture his third world championship as he takes on Kevin Owens, Big Cass and Roman Reigns in a Fatal Four Way match for the Universal Championship tonight.
