Over the weekend, the Miami Hurricanes dismissed top defensive players Al-Quadin Muhammad and Jermaine Grace due to NCAA violations. Wide receiver Stacy Coley was also named in the same probe that got them in trouble, but it looks like he has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
It was reported by The Palm Beach Post that Coley has had his name removed from the probe after he wasn’t mentioned in the team’s press conference over the weekend. This is big news for the team as the senior is expected to be the team’s top receiver.
During the 2015 season, Stacy Coley was one of the best receivers for the Hurricanes. He recorded 47 receptions for 689 yards and four touchdowns. He is easily going to be the best receiver on the team going into the season.
The Hurricanes open the 2016 season on Saturday against Florida A&M.
