Ohio State WR KJ Hill to miss 3-4 weeks after ankle surgery

The Ohio State Buckeyes will move forward for the next three to four weeks without the services of wide receiver KJ Hill, head coach Urban Meyer announced during Monday’s press conference.

Hill, a redshirt freshman, is the latest Buckeyes wideout to be hit by the injury bug. According to Meyer, Hill underwent surgery last week to repair a high ankle sprain.

Through the first three games of the season, Hill has just two catches for 58 yards and a touchdown. Both catches came in the team’s season-opener.

That touchdown was the first Ohio State touchdown of the season.

The No. 2 Buckeyes return to action this weekend when they play host to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as Ohio State looks to keep its unbeaten record intact. Kickoff between Ohio State and Rutgers is scheduled for noon ET with broadcasting information yet to be determined.
