The Duke basketball team will be down a key player for today’s game against the Miami Hurricanes.
Prior to Saturday afternoon’s 4 p.m. ET tip-off, it was announced that star guard Grayson Allen will not suit up for the Blue Devils at BankUnited Center in Coral Gables.
Allen is sitting out to nurse a lingering ankle injury.
It will be the third time Allen has missed a game during the 2016-17 college basketball season.
Allen previously missed game action for a lower leg injury and suspension.
Without Allen in the lineup, the Blue Devils will roll out a starting lineup of Matt Jones, Luke Kennard, Harry Giles, Jayson Tatum and Amile Jefferson.

This season, Allen is averaging 15 points and four assists per game for the 22-6 Blue Devils. Duke is currently ranked No. 10 in the AP Top 25 poll, but will watch their ranking drop following a loss earlier this week to Syracuse.
Live coverage of today’s game can be seen on CBS.
