Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao faced off against hometown hero Jeff Horn as he defended his WBO welterweight championship on Saturday night in Brisbane, Australia.
The bout — which aired live on ESPN — featured plenty of entertaining back-and-forth action but ended in controversy.
After going all 12 rounds, Horn was granted a controversial unanimous decision win.
While the fight was close and the two 115-113 scorecards are justifiable, though still highly debatable, one judge had an absurd score of 117-111, which led to fans across social media crying robbery on behalf of Pacquiao. And as you would expect, most people were pointing out the hometown cooking from the judges.
