Willie Cauley-Stein hints at leaving Kentucky for NBA

In what comes as a shock to no one, one of the Kentucky Wildcats’ top players appears to be ready to enter the 2015 NBA Draft.

On Saturday night, Kentucky Wildcats star Willie Cauley-Stein strongly hinted that Saturday’s Final Four loss to Wisconsin was his final college appeareance.

“It’s time to take another step,” Cauley-Stein told reporters, via ESPN.com. “I mean, obviously, I’m not 100 percent on it, but I’m pretty sure I know what I want to do. Gotta talk to a couple more people, but probably was my last game here.”

The 7-foot junior averaged 9.3 points and 6.4 rebounds this season and many believe he will be a lottery pick in this summer’s draft.

Kentucky’s season came to a heart-breaking end on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, when they fell to the Wisconsin Badgers to suffer their first loss of the season.

With the emotional ending to the season, Willie Cauley-Stein and the rest of his teammates will likely take some time before officially declaring their intentions moving forward.
