Louisville Lands Four-Star QB Committ for 2016

It seems as though the Louisville Cardinals may have just found their replacement for Teddy Bridgewater. You guys remember Bridgewater right? 2014 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year? One of the best quarterbacks in the history of the Cardinals? Well, four star quarterback Tylin Oden will look to make the Cardinal fans ask “Teddy Who?” in 2016.

In a report by the Courier-Journal on Sunday, it was revealed that Oden had pinned Louisville as his top team on the list of potential schools.

“Louisville is not that far from home, and on top of that, coach (Bobby) Petrino is an offensive guru,” Oden said. “… I watched how they operate on offense. They run a lot of pro-style (sets). They spread it out and they throw it. They do a lot of things that I like and that I think I could perform my best at.

He later confirmed: “They’re my favorite.”

On Monday afternoon, Oden finally made his decision via Twitter.

The Spring Hill, Tennesee native had cut his list down to Louisville, Mississippi State, and West Virginia before making the decision on Monday. Oden will come into the 2016 season, barring injury, the favorite to land the starting job. He will also look to be just as dynamic as Bridgewater, if not more.
