The Notre Dame football team just gained a huge piece to their offensive line for the 2016 season earlier this week when four star offensive guard Parker Boudreaux committed to the Irish. Whenever a big time recruit makes his college decision, it’s not surprising that some fans of the teams he snubbed would be upset.
Country megastar Cole Swindell was the same way, but he was also humble in congratulating Boudreaux.
According to College Spun, Swindell, a Georgia Southern graduate and fan, replied to a tweet that Boudreaux sent out Saturday afternoon. Swindell is obviously upset with Boudreaux’s decision to go to South Bend instead of Statesboro (Georgia Southern was one of Boudreaux’s final five) but he is still happy for the guy regardless.
@ParkerBoudreaux ooouch. Congrats brotha.. Wish you the best!

It takes a big man to step up and congratulate a guy when he snubbed your team for arguably one of the richest programs in college football history. But honestly, who would want to alienate someone the size of Boudreaux? I’m a big dude and there is no way I would make this guy angry.
The guy pulled a freaking school bus to reveal his commitment. That just screams intensity.
