Carli Lloyd to grace the next ten dollar bill?

The 2015 Women’s World Cup ended just about fifteen hours ago and after the US Women’s National Team won its record third title, the world is still going crazy. They are going so crazy that people think one member of the team should be the new face of a piece of US currency.

According to USA Today, Twitter has been blowing up ever since Carli Lloyd went absoulutely bezerk in the first sixteen minutes of the final game last night.

She scored the first ever hat trick in World Cup final history and went on to win the Golden Ball award for best player of the tournament.

Now, people would like to see Lloyd on the ten dollar bill and US goalie Hope Solo on the one dollar bill.

The US Department of Treasury recently announced that a woman would appear on the ten dollar bill beginning in 2020. They then made the mistake of asking for suggestions of who should be put on the bill.

While I have personally seen some pretty crazy suggestions (Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry), I don’t think that having one of the greatest US women athletes of this generation on the bill would be such a bad idea.

Too bad there is a law stating that no living person can have their face on US currency. No really, that is a law.
