The Missouri Tigers are entering into their third season in the SEC and during their first two, they made a ton of noise. They have won the SEC East the last two seasons and in 2013, they were about five minutes away from possibly replacing Auburn in the national championship game.
The one thing the haven’t been able to do is establish a good rivalry with any one team in the conference. That may have all changed at this week’s SEC Media Days.
South Carolina defensive Skai Moore joined Steve Spurrier at the event on Tuesday and he was asked if he had one specific player he was looking forward to playing this season, according to College Spun. He gave a pretty direct message to Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk.
Skai Moore says he's looking forward to hitting Maty Mauk, "When we play Missouri we'll have a little something for him." #SECMD15

Mauk, he took over for injured James Franklin near the end of the 2013 season and hasn’t given up the spot since, had a pretty amazing response to Moore’s threat on Wednesday when the Tigers took the stage.
Mauk told that Skia Moore said he wants to hit him in this year's game. "If he can catch me, yeah."

It may not seem like much now, but with Spurrier as vocal as he is, I would expect him to stir the pot a little bit before their meeting. The Tigers host the Gamecocks on October 3.
