NBA champion Draymond Green recently sat down with Campus Sports for the latest episode of our “Timeout” series. Green immediately relived the Golden State Warriors’ impressive run to a NBA title, along with a number of other topics.
Green took the NBA’s summer emoji craze to a new level by assigning one icon to each of his teammates. The NBA star also discussed his time at Michigan State — who he believes has a future No. 1 NFL Draft pick on their roster.
“Connor [Cook] is definitely one of the Heisman favorites going into the season,” Green said of the Spartans quarterback. “He’s a great player. I think he will be the No. 1 draft pick next year. He’s the best quarterback in college football and watch out for him winning a national championship.”
It’s strong praise from Green, who while competing in a different sport, knows a lot about winning a title.
