Deshuan Watson got off to a slow start this afternoon against Appalachian State, but has picked things up in a big way. His latest touchdown pass put the Clemson Tigers up 38-0 over the Mountaineers.
It was an impressive touchdown to say the least in the third quarter. Watson dropped back and bombed a pass deep towards the end zone and found wide receiver Artavis Scott in the end zone for the score. Those two are going to hook up on quite a few touchdowns this season and there aren’t many defenses that can stop them.

All of that being said, it was a huge play and Clemson is showing off some of the potential that their offense possesses. Watson is going to decide whether the Tigers win the ACC or end up coming up short of their potential. He is a special talent, but he has to be consistent and continue being a playmaker for the rest of the season.
