Stephen Curry is one of the most popular names in all of pop culture today. It comes with good reason too. Not only is he on the cover of NBA 2K16, he is a NBA champion, and the 2014-15 NBA MVP.
Although he traditionally goes by the nickname “Steph”, Curry is still the most searched “Stephen” on the internet. Another popular “Stephen” took offense to that.
SI.com shared a video where Curry appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” recently. Colbert confronted Curry about being second behind him in a Google search, so he decided to challenge Curry to determine who the real “Stephen” is.
The challenge? A laundry shooting competition. You would think it would be a bad idea to challenge one of the most efficient three point shooters in the NBA today to a shooting competition, but Colbert surprisingly held his own.
Everyone has played this game at some point in their life. You’re folding socks, which is one of the most mundane house chores ever, and you are bored. So, you set the basket across the room and begin shooting at it.
Usually, you miss and have to find the socks before the dog does. However, every now and then you hit the “game-winning shot” as the buzzer sounds off in your head. I can only imagine what shooting socks against one of the best players in the NBA would be like.
Fallon and Kimmel have a lot to live up to now.
