The Clemson Tigers lost a big part of their defense in the first half of Monday night’s College Football Playoff championship game. Cornerback Mackensie Alexander left the game with an injured hamstring and wasn’t able to return to the game.
The Tigers struggled to stop the Alabama offense after his departure from the game and they ended losing the game because of it. Despite the injury, Alexander limped his way back onto the confetti-littered field to congratulate the Crimson Tide.

That certainly looks like the face of a man that had a fairly rough night in what was possibly his last game as a Clemson Tiger. Alexander is expected to be a late first round or early second round pick in the NFL Draft in April, but he still has two more years of eligibility if he decides to return.
Hopefully, Alexander is able to make a full recovery because he will likely have a terrific career no matter what he decides to do.
