If there’s one thing that the Nebraska Cornhuskers won’t let go it is that their football team upset the Michigan State Spartans during the 2015 season. They certainly won’t let it go after their basketball team did the same Wednesday night.
The Cornhuskers beat the 11th-ranked Spartans 72-71 in a big win Wednesday night, much like their 39-38 win on the gridiron during the football season. Following the game, they captured a GIF of head coach Tim Miles sipping some Gatorade and posted it to Twitter, referencing the Kermit the Frog and tea meme.

Well done, Nebraska.
After their big win, the Cornhuskers are 12-8, which means they still have an uphill battle to slip into the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years. If they can keep getting big wins like this, I don’t think they will have any problem getting to the Big Dance.
