With the UFC 220 main card about to start at the top of the hour, Abdul Razak Alhassan made sure to carry us into the pay-per-view with some heavy momentum.
Alhassan was facing off against Sabah Homasi in a rematch of a bout that took place in December before a horrendous stoppage when he landed an early contender for Knockout of the Night.
Midway through the first round, Alhassan unleashed a vicious uppercut that sent Homasi immediately crashing to the mat.
It is still January, but Alhassan puts his name into the mix early as a contender for Knockout of the Year.
