Former South Carolina football and baseball standout has decided on a new home. The rising junior decided to walk away from the Carolina program in December. He will be transferring to Utah where he plans on keeping his football career going. He confirmed this on his Twitter page on Monday (@FlaBreed_).

Christian had 18 tackles last season with two pass breakups and one forced fumble. He played in all 12 games as a sophomore.

Christian gave his reason for transferring in December as wanting to be closer to home. Utah was a strange choice for that logic.

He also added on his Twitter account that it wasn’t a baseball decision, tweeting “Baseball got nun to do wit it its all pigskin.”
