Deng Adel made it official on Tuesday, he’s heading to Louisville to play for Rick Pitino.
The Cardinals made the 6’7 small forward one of their main priories from the beginning and that stood out to Adel in the long run.
Other schools such as Connecticut, Auburn, Florida, and LSU tried to covet him recently but it was too late. He knew he would end up at Louisville.
Adel becomes the first player to commit to Pitino’s 2015 class. Adel’s stock grew in the past year, and according to Rivals.com, he ranks as the No. 47 overall player in the country.
