Hearing the words “True Freshman” and “Starter” at a national powerhouse might cause some fans to be uneasy heading into the season. But if that true freshman is a quarterback, you better believe the local emergency rooms have a busy day ahead of them. That’s not the case with LSU’s true freshman quarterback Brandon Harris.
Coming out of high school with over 6,000 passing and 1,830 rushing yards in his last two seasons, Harris is no stranger to handling a high level of success. Leaving high school early to partake in spring ball, Harris quickly earned the respect of the lettermen and the rest of team.
With Zach Mettenberger gone, Les Miles and the fan base are in need for someone to take control and lead the Tigers to another SEC and National Championship. Stay tuned for developing stories on Harris’ role within LSU’s offense heading into fall camp and more on their opener at NRG Stadium in Houston against Wisconsin.
