LSU’s Trey Lealaimatafao Hospitalized After Punching Window

LSU’s freshman defensive tackle, Trey Lealaimatafao was rushed to the hospital after injuring his arm during a LSU workout. He punched through a glass window in the Tiger’s weight room. The athletic department still hasn’t disclosed the severity of the injury and whether or not the d-tackle will have to miss time this season. Lealaimatafao took a picture and posted it on Twitter today (7/22) updating fans, family and friends on his condition. Saying “Hi everyone, I’m doing well.”

Trey was a highly sought after recruit coming out of high school, and was expected to earn playing time as a true freshman. At 6-foot, 300 pounds he will be able to fill up gaps for the Tiger defense making it hard for opposing offenses to run the ball. Stay tuned for more updates as the Tiger’s get closer and closer to their opener Aug 30th against Wisconsin at NRG Stadium in Houston.
