Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher knows that to win championships, you have to have an offensive line that controls the line of scrimmage and a defensive line that has the ability to wreak havoc.
The Seminoles received a boost to their future defensive line when No. 1 ranked JUCO defensive tackle D.J. Jones committed to the Seminoles.
According to Rivals.com, Jones is the No.6 overall prospect 2015 JUCO prospect and No.1 rated defensive tackle.
Jones plays his junior college ball for East Mississippi C.C., located in Scooba, Mississippi.
He will be eligible to enroll on campus in January and will be able to play two years at his college destination.
Florida State was chosen over the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Clemson. Florida, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina,Tennessee, and USC.
