4-Star outside linebacker Richard McBryde decided it was time to announce the news that most people expected.
He’s ready to become an Auburn Tiger.
McBryde, who resides in Troy, Alabama, was an Auburn lean for quite some time.
He is a seen as a hard-hitter on the field and is not afraid of contact by any means. McBryde can line up on the inside or outside and can be used at many different positions on the field.
Although he did not participate in any drills, he attended Auburn’s Tiger Elite Camp and that visit was the inching on the cake for McBryde.
“I’ve gotten a lot of love from Auburn since I’ve been coming there,” McBryde said. “I like everything up there, especially head coach Gus Malzahn. When you hang out with the head coach, that’s special. I just wanted to get it out of the way before my senior season.
McBryde becomes the Tigers’ 19th commitment for the 2015 class. He chose Auburn over Alabama, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, among others.
