Clemson Dismisses Kyrin Priester

Clemson wide receiver Kyrin Priester has been dismissed from the team for not behaving up to team standards, according to head coach Dabo Swinney.

“He’s been dismissed for just a poor attitude basically,” Swinney stated. “His conduct is not acceptable to our team standards. Hate that. Good player, but we wish him well.”

Priester played on special teams in Clemson’s 45-21 loss to Georgia.

According to, he was rated a three-star prospect coming out of high school and was ranked the No. 54 prospect in the state of Georgia.

He signed with the Tigers in 2013 but failed to qualify due to academic issues. He then enrolled at Fork Union Military Academy where he spent last season before joining Clemson this past spring.
