Connecticut Huskies head coach Bob Diaco announced starting quarterback Casey Cochran will miss tomorrow’s game against Stony Brook due to an upper-body injury.

Diaco stated that Cochran did not alert the coaches he was injured until four days later.

Cochran threw for 171 yards an one interceptions in the Huskies’ 35-10 loss to BYU.

Former starter Chandler Whitman will start against the Seawolves. Whitman also played against BYU. He completed 8-of-17 passes for 131 yards. Whitman was UConn’s starter for the 2012 season and started four games in the 2013 season. He has thrown for 3, 668 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 22 interceptions during his career.
