The number 28 ranked player in the 2015 recruiting class, D.J. Hogg, made it official Monday that he will be a member of the Texas A&M Aggies basketball program. The chase for Hogg’s services came to a dramatic conclusion when he selected Texas A&M over Baylor and UCLA.
Hogg joins fellow five-star recruit Tyler Davis in a recruiting class that has quietly flown under the radar. Davis and Hogg were AAU teammates for the Texas Titans so the chemistry should already be established.
“Texas A&M has always been one of my favorites. I had to get my dad on board, who liked Baylor,” Hogg said.
The small forward is an excellent pick up for an Aggies program hoping to return to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2011.
