The brother of San Francisco 49ers wide receiver and former Texas Tech star Michael Crabtree has been added to the Wake Forest basketball team. New head coach Danny Manning announced Tuesday that Cornelius Hudson has enrolled at the school and will suit up for the Demon Deacons in 2014-15. The six foot six forward graduated from a Dallas high school in 2013 before spending a postgraduate year at Mount Zion Christian Academy in Durham, North Carolina.
In a press conference Tuesday, Manning said Hudson is “a versatile, all-around player who is capable of playing any one of the perimeter spots on the floor.” A very familiar face for college sports fans will be the fourth and newest member of Manning’s recruiting class. What Hudson’s immediate impact on the program is, remains to be seen, but if he’s anything like his older brother he will have something to say about the Demon Deacons success.
