Four-star recruit Bowman Archibald has decided to switch his original commitment from Miami (FL) to conference foe Wake Forest. Originally, Archibald signed a financial agreement with the Hurricanes before deciding to change his decision after an exceptional visit in Durham this past weekend.
“The Miami coaches originally encouraged me to sign with them, but I knew I could still take my visits and look at other places,” Archibald said. “Miami was aware I wanted to look around when I signed it. I told them that I at least wanted to take my visits.”
According to the ESPN Top 300, Archibald is the 189 ranked recruit and is a major pickup for a program that has struggled to reclaim relevance within the ACC.
