Daylon Mack Chooses Texas A&M

At this point in the day, it feels as if almost every one of the nation’s top high school recruits has chosen an SEC school and you can chalk another one up for the nation’s top conference as the Texas A&M Aggies landed five-star defensive tackle Daylon Mack.

Mack, who had previously decommited from the school, will seemingly fit in right away as one of the team’s top interior lineman and could see substantial game action in his freshman campaign.

The Gladwater High School (Texas) product sent shockwaves through the Aggies community when he originally flipped his decision, but the entire program has breathed a collective sigh of relief following the most recent news.

Mack has the intangible skills to become an elite interior defensive lineman and has displayed both great quickness and explosiveness at the snap, valuable assets for any defensive lineman. This dangerous combination is a major pickup for an Aggies program hoping to revamp their defense and make a competitive run in the loaded SEC West.
