Ahead of the Xavier’s Sweet 16 matchup against Arizona, the Musketeers are drawing inspiration from hip hop artist DMX.
How do the Xavier Musketeers get amped up for a Sweet 16 matchup against Arizona? By creating a playlist with DMX. More specifically, by playing one song on repeat.
For the sake of the Wildcats, they better hope Xavier’s playlist for the night isn’t going to come to fruition or we will be seeing another upset take place during March Madness.

Arizona and Xavier went head-to-head in the nightcap at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. on Thursday night. Unfortunately for the Musketeers and their fans, the Arizona Wildcats were able to pull away in the second half.
While Xavier and Arizona went into the half tied, the Wildcats outscored the Musketeers 40-28 in the final 20 minutes of the game.
Arizona guard T.J. McConnell and Xavier big man Matt Stainbrook tied as the games leading scorer with 17 points. McConnell added 7 rebounds and five assists, while Stainbrook completed a double-double with 10 boards.
Arizona will now advance to the Elite 8 where they will take on the Wisconsin Badgers, who are the No. 1 seed in the West region.
The winner of Arizona vs. Wisconsin will face the winner of Kentucky vs. Notre Dame.
