Arkansas State lands Dee Liner from Alabama

The Arkansas State Red Wolves have made a huge addition along their offensive line, following the announcement from former top recruit Dee Liner that he has decided to transfer to the university.

Liner made the announcement on social media Friday.

Liner originally committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide as one of the school’s top recruits. However, the former four-star standout was unable to ever land a spot in the starting lineup.

As a result, Nick Saban and the University of Alabama ultimately decided to release Dee Liner from his scholarship earlier this year.

This season, Liner will be forced to remain on the sidelines because of NCAA transfer rules, before making his impact felt with two remaining seasons of eligibility at Arkansas State.
