Wisconsin receives champion’s welcome back at team hotel

When the Wisconsin Badgers returned to their team hotel on Saturday night, a huge group of fans was there to give them a king’s welcome.

After knocking off the No. 1 overall seed and previously unbeaten Kentucky Wildcats in a thriller that went down to the wire, the Badgers punched their ticket to the national championship against Duke.

Happy with their performance, a large group of Wisconsin fans beat the Badgers basketball squad to the team hotel.

Once the players arrived, the cheers began.

On April 6, Wisconsin will need to knock off another No. 1 seed in Mike Krzyzewski’s Duke Blue Devils if the Badgers want to stake their claim to the NCAA title.

Tip-off for Wisconsin vs. Duke is set for 8:18 p.m. ET at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
