Johnathan Williams III is officially transferring from the Missouri Tigers program, following plenty of speculation. The university and Williams have confirmed he will be leaving the basketball team, along with Deuce Bello.
Both players are former top 50 recruits.
While Williams determines where he will continue his playing career, there are a number of options that he will never have the opportunity to consider.
Missouri head coach Kim Anderson released a list of 25 schools that Williams will not be able to transfer to.
The list includes the SEC, the Big 12, Illinois and Arizona.

The good news for Williams, however, is that he will still have plenty of quality programs looking to land his services.
Last season, Johnathan Williams III averaged 11.9 points and 7.1 rebounds. He led the Missouri Tigers in both of those categories and started in all of the team’s 32 games.
Bello, meanwhile, started just three games and averaged 1.8 points and 1.1 rebounds. Per the release, Bello plans on graduating this spring before looking to continue his graduate studies elsewhere.
