Brian Kelly likes Notre Dame’s QBs over Ohio State’s duo

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be entering the 2015 college football season with Everett Golson and Malik Zaire at quarterback.

It is an impressive one-two punch under center for the Fighting Irish, and Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly understands how great his current situation is.

In fact, Kelly believes the only team close to having the depth he does is Ohio State.

But even then, Brian Kelly would take his quarterbacks over anyone else in the nation.

“At the quarterback position, maybe other than Ohio State, I would take our two quarterbacks,” Kelly said, via CSN Chicago. “And I would take our two over Ohio State’s. In terms of depth, I don’t know if anybody has a better situation than we do in terms of the two quarterbacks we have.”

What else would you expect Kelly to say?

A head coach is always going to support and praise his own players first, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Notre Dame has one of the best quarterback situations in the nation.
