College football fans are known for their passion and embracing the fierce rivalries around the nation.
One of the most exciting rivalries comes when the Michigan State Spartans and Michigan Wolverines go head-to-head. While Michigan State has been the more impressive football team over recent years and dominated the rivalry with Michigan, it is the Wolverines fans who were able to earn the “prank wars” edge.
Early Thursday morning, a photo made the rounds on the internet that shows the Michigan State bronze statue painted blue with a maize “M” on the chest.
It doesn’t take much effort to realize which fan base was likely responsible for the vandalism.

You have to wonder how Michigan State fans will respond. Let’s hope things don’t get too inetnse before the two teams meet on the field on Oct. 17.
