Florida State lands Andrew Boselli, son of Tony Boselli

The Florida State Seminoles have continued to bolster their No. 1 ranked 2016 recruiting class by adding Andrew Boselli, the son of former Jacksonville Jaguars great Tony Boselli.

Boselli made the announcement on social media.

Boselli’s father was quick to congratulate his son.

“Coach Trickett is just an offensive line coach – a technician – that knows how to teach,” Boselli said earlier this year during a visit, via Tallahassee.com. “And they run a pro-style offense. It’s a place that, if you want to go to the NFL, it a place you want to go. They’ll teach you how to do it.”

Andrew Boselli, a three-star 6-foot-4, 290-pound offensive lineman, currently attends Episcopal School of Jacksonville. He becomes the 14th player to commit to Florida State’s 2016 recruiting class.

“They were always at the top of my list, [I] went around saw a bunch of schools and decided [on FSU],” Boselli said after making his announcement.

Boselli was also considering Duke, Miami and Penn State.

While Tony Boselli was an incredible offensive tackle, Andrew is expected to play inside. According to Justin Barney, Florida State likes Boselli at center.
