We would venture to guess that South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Steve Spurrier is in better shape than most men his age. In fact, he is probably in better shape than a number of kids around the country who watch their beer belly grow by the hour.

Now, we have confirmation.

Thanks to The State columnist Josh Kendall, we can all get a nice look at one of Steve Spurrier’s workouts. It is a great behind-the-scenes look at “the ole ball coach,” who is putting in some serious work in the gym.

Seriously.

People may get a few laughs out of watching the 69-year-old former Heisman Trophy winner work out, but you won’t be laughing when he flexes some bigger muscles than you.

You can check out the video below.

Steve Spurrier is currently just days away from his 70th birthday.

On Monday, April 20, Spurrier will hit that mark. Happy early birthday to the South Carolina Gamecocks head football coach and best of luck with the continued workouts.

If you look good, you feel good and it certainly appears that Spurrier is feeling just fine.
