Nick Saban doesn’t like you asking players about each other

Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban threatened to shut down media availability, after becoming frustrated with the way reporters were handling the questioning of his players.

Specifically, Saban didn’t appreciate the way that reporters were asking players questions about other players in order to get quotes.

“Well, if you guys continue to get quotes from players about other players, then we’re not going to talk to players any more,” Saban said, according to Times-Dispatch reporter Alex Byington.

It will be interesting to see whether the Alabama reporters got the message or whether Saban will be forced to continue threatening to close down media availability.

If a program as big as Alabama restricted it’s players from speaking with the media, it would be interesting to see how everyone would react.

You know the media members wouldn’t be too thrilled.
