Another elite 2016 QB prospect is now off the board. After recently de-committing from the University of Michigan, 4-Star QB Messiah deWeaver out of Dayton, OH (Wayne HS) announced his verbal commitment to Michigan State.
deWeaver’s final three schools were Michigan State, Mississippi State and Penn State.
deWeaver is a prototypical Pro-Style QB who will fit in nicely with the offense run by Mark Dantonio and his staff.
Along with his final three, deWeaver also had reported offers from Louisville, Arkansas, Pittsburgh and Duke just to name a few. As we have seen in the past with his recruitment, it’s not over til National Signing Day.
