After finishing the 2015 class with the highest class UCLA has had in several years, that momentum seems to be continuing into the 2016 class.
Late Friday evening, ATH Jordan Parker broke the news on his twitter that he had committed to the Bruins:

Parker committed to UCLA over offers from Arizona State, Cal, USC, and Washington State as well as interest from several other schools. Parker’s commitment comes just hours after Cal dismissed their recruiting coordinator and the timing leaves one to wonder if the two may be correlated.
Parker currently plays all over the field, and it will be interesting to see how Jim Mora Jr. plans on using him when he gets on campus. Parker is the 8th commit for the Bruins so far, and while it may be early, they possess a top-10 class, and that is expected to continue as we inch closer to National Signing day 2016 (now only 284 days away!)
