Forward Jernard Jarreau is transferring from Washington


Washington is losing Nigel Williams-Goss (transfer), Darin Johnson (transfer), Shawn Kemp Jr. (graduation), Mike Anderson (graduation) and now Lorenzo Romar is losing yet another player from his roster.

Junior forward Jernard Jarreau, who will have to sit out a season due to NCAA eligibility rules, will be transferring from the Huskies program after playing 24.3 minutes per game last season.

The 6’10” forward from New Orleans, Louisiana averaged 5.1 points per game, 4.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists and shot 42 percent from the field.

As a three star-recruit out of McDonogh 35 High School, received offers from Washington, Tulsa and VCU.

It is unknown at this point as to which schools he is considering or what schools have reached out to contact him.
