Clemson's assistant coach Durrell Barry tweeted a never-before-seen photo of Clemson's potential new helmet.

Clemson to Sport New Helmets in 2015?

Yesterday, Clemson’s assistant football coach, Durrell Barry posted the alleged new hardware via Twitter. It features an orange chrome finish with a golden hue Clemson paw on the side.

All heresy as of now, the Tigers open the season versus the Wofford Terriers and play their first away game (a very possible reveal for an alternate helmet) on Thursday night, September 17th as they travel to Louisville to meet the Cardinals.

The Tigers finished the regular season at 9-3 and ended the year with a 40-6 victory over Bob Stoops and the Oklahoma Sooners. A new look wouldn’t be a bad way to keep the momentum going.
