Nebraska WR Jariah Tolbert Cited For Possession

Nebraska Cornhuskers wide receiver Jariah Tolbert was cited by university police early this morning for possession of drug paraphernalia. Brian Christopherson of the Lincoln Journal-Star reported the story.

Tolbert and two female friends were found in a parked car “ingesting” marijuana, and a glass pipe with pot residue was found at the scene. All three were cited.

It is not Tolbert’s first incident involving marijuana, as he was caught smoking it last summer before running and subsequently being caught and charged. He plead guilty to the pot charge and not guilty to obstructing an officer, ultimately being fined $300 for possession of less than an ounce.

The 6-foot-3, 195 pound receiver has yet to make a play on the field for the Huskers in a regular season game, but has turned some heads this spring.
