Chance Murray, a guard at Arizona State, won’t be a Sun Devil for long.
Reports are circulating that the 6-foot-2 sophomore will transfer out of the program. He played a reserve roll both seasons, averaging just 2.4 points in 8.6 minutes of action his sophomore year.
It appears the Los Angeles native is looking for a fresh start. Murray was highly recruited out of high school and his options won’t be limited.
The report comes in the wake of a leadership change in Phoenix.
Taking the reigns at ASU is Bobby Hurley, the college basketball legend who helped lead Duke to two consecutive national titles in the early 90’s. Picked 7th in the NBA draft, Hurley’s professional aspirations were derailed following a serious car accident.
