Former Louisville Cardinals star and current Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will be in attendance for the 141st running of the Kentucky Derby.
However, when Bridgewater is at Churchill Downs, he will be doing more than simply enjoying the race.
As it turns out, Teddy Bridgewater will have the honor of calling “riders up” prior to the official post time of 6:26 p.m. ET. Considering Bridgewater is a local favorite and has done so much for the University of Louisville, the crowd will probably be on their feet.
Former Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater gives the order for "riders up" at 6:25 p.m. Call to the Post 6:26. My Old Kentucky Home after that.
