A product of Chipley High School in Chipley, Florida, located about 90 miles west of Tallahassee, Forrest is the No. 48 recruit in the country and the No. 8 shooting guard in 247Sports’ rankings. He also was recruited by Georgia Tech, Georgia, Miami, Vanderbilt and other programs. At 6-foot-4, 185 pounds, he is a fantastic combo guard and incredible scorer.
Upon joining the Seminoles, he will be tasked with turning around a program that went 17-16 (8-10 ACC) last season and has not made the NCAA tournament in three years. Given his overall skillset, the ACC could have a new contender once the 2016-17 season begins.
