Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Cardale Jones is feeling a little jealousy towards running back Ezekiel Elliott.
After Elliott got the honor of throwing out a first pitch prior to a game featuring his hometown St. Louis Cardinals, Jones took to social media to ask for the same from his hometown Cleveland Indians.
I'm just saying @Indians @EzekielElliott thinks his hometown loves him more than my hometown loves me because he throw out the first pitch

Elliott responded with a light-hearted jab at his quarterback.
Cardale obviously wants to be like me

He looks up to me

It was an entertaining back and forth between the two, but it looks like Cardale Jones may actually get the last laugh.
Shortly after Jones sent out the tweet, the Indians responded to his message by asking for the Ohio State quarterback and reigning national champion to contact them with his personal info so they can set up a date.

When Elliott threw out his first pitch, he threw a strike right over the plate. We will have to see whether Cardale Jones can step up and deliver a more impressive first pitch that goes for a strike with some heat on it.
Friendly rivalries are always fun.
