Despite not playing in years and having no scheduled meetings in sight, there has been plenty of back-and-forth between the Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies as they try to rekindle the rivalry.
The latest shot between the two sides comes from Texas A&M chancellor John Sharp.
While discussing the potential series between the Longhorns and Aggies, Sharp threw a jab at the Longhorn Network saying a game with Texas A&M would get Texas on “real TV.”
Sharp on UT-A&M football: "The great thing about playing us is that you can get on real TV when you play us."#ttevents

While the jab was entertaining, John Sharp needs to realize that a number of Texas Longhorns games are available on ESPN or ABC. So while taking a jab at the Longhorn Network is always fun, it’s not the most accurate comment from the A&M AD.
Still, let’s get a series scheduled so the two sides can settle their differences on the field.
