Reports: Northern Kentucky moving to Horizon League

It appears that the Horizon League will be expanding with a new member of the conference.

According to a report from the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Northern Kentucky Norse are set to accept a bid for membership into the Horizon League on Monday.

Wright State president David R. Hopkins appeared to have confirmed the news on social media.

Once the big is accepted, Northern Kentucky will play in the Horizon League during the 2015-16 college basketball season.

It will not be until 2017, however, that the Norse will be eligible for the NCAA Tournament.
