Minnesota Vikings and former Louisville Cardinals quarterback Teddy Bridgewater made one Louisville High School student’s prom an experience that she will never forget.
Christian Academy of Louisvile junior Ashley Davis was surprised when she found out that Bridgewater would be her date for the big dance.
Bridgewater explained why he made the nice gesture in an interview.
“I felt that it was the right thing to do. It was a good thing to do. It kind of touched me when I first met her. How she kind of teared up and everything,” he said, via WLKY. “It just showed that I made an impact here on the playing field on and off the playing field. Ashley … She is just a great girl and I am going to make sure she has a great time tonight.”
It’s always great to see athletes making a positive impact.
