Urban Meyer decided to show off his arm in front of thousands of fans at Yankee Stadium on Friday night. The New York Yankees were hosting “Ohio State Night” for the defending national champions, when Meyer stepped up to the mound for the ceremonial first pitch.
Meyer, a former shortstop who was drafted with a 13th round pick in the 1982 MLB Draft, tossed out the pitch just days after undergoing an emergency appendectomy.
While there wasn’t much heat on the pitch, Meyer had a respectable performance.
We’d have to give the edge to his running back, Ezekiel Elliott, though.
